BitDefender Antivirus 2008 Receives Virus Bulletin 100% Certification
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. December 12, 2007 BitDefender®, a global provider of award-winning antivirus software and data security solutions, announced today that BitDefender Antivirus 2008 was awarded VB100% certification from Virus Bulletin for its ability to detect 100% of the viruses on the WildList. Tested by Virus Bulletin on Windows 2000, BitDefender's powerful security solution was proven to be one of the most secure anti-virus solutions available.
BitDefender Antivirus 2008 provides state of the art proactive protection against viruses, spyware, phishing attacks, rootkits and more using BitDefenders patent pending B-HAVE (Behavioral Heuristic Analyzer in Virtual Environments) technology. The VB100% certification is recognized as one of the industrys definitive guides for the performance of an antivirus product.
