BitDefender 10.0 Nominated for RetailVision Award
BitDefender®, an award-winning provider of antivirus software and data security solutions, announced today that BitDefender v10.0, the latest version of the companys flagship product line, was nominated for RetailVisions Best Software Product Award. The award, along with the recent announcement of a technology alliance between BitDefender and Internet Security Systems (ISS), caps the companys most successful month in the U.S. and Europe in terms of customer growth, product announcements and corporate partnerships.
Continuing to build on the ongoing success of its product lines, BitDefenders BitDefender v10.0 product line was nominated for a Best of RetailVision Award under the category of Best Product Software. BitDefender v10 offers new enhancements and capabilities, including a powerful new rootkit detector, HTTP traffic scanning capabilities, a privacy protection module, and several additional features. BitDefender v10.0 will also include BitDefenders new B-HAVE (Behavioral Heuristic Analyzer in Virtual Environments) technology, offering subscribers the most powerful heuristics available for proactively monitoring and detecting malware.
BitDefender also recently announced a technical alliance with ISS, which will integrate BitDefenders antivirus and anti-spyware engines into the ISS Proventia Desktop product, offering enterprise users a comprehensive, multi-layered desktop protection offering. This alliance also significantly increases BitDefenders use among large enterprises and governments due to ISS proven success in each space.
